SHOT Show Day 2 2013

 

  Wow! Yesterday was a fabulous day at the show! We had the opportunity to meet so many of our long term customers, as well as, many new ones!

Welcome 2013! 2012 was a fabulous year of hunting, fishing, and of course design at Stallion Leather but after a long month of travel, holidays, and over indulging I am ready to get back to work.

Hello! How was your weekend? I hope you were out enjoying a little hunting, shooting, fishing or something outdoors to take in the great Fall weather.

Did you know that you can now take Concealed Carry classes online? The Concealed Carry Institute offers firearms safety class online. This class satisfies most county requirements in Colorado, Iowa, Oregon and Virginia to allow you to receive a Concealed Handgun Permit.

Although we are not affiliated in any way with this class, and are not receiving any compensation, we at Stallion Leather are in favor of classes that teach firearm safety. Safety should be first and foremost in your mind when getting a concealed carry permit.

Overview of SHOW 2012

I am back in Wisconsin after an incredibly busy and exciting SHOT Show 2012, in fact we were so busy that I could not even post on Day 4.

The show was a great success for Stallion Leather, we met so many bloggers, prospective customers and also had the opportunity to sit down with many of our long term customers, in addition to scoping our the new items around the industry.

I hope that you had a successful show and an uneventful trip back home. The storms in the Midwest luckily did not hamper our trip.

Day 3 SHOT SHOW 2012

Hello from Las Vegas! Day 3! We are having a great day so far! I have been walking around a bit to see what new things are out there and I have seen a few new flashlights, a new baton, new knives and multi-tools and of course some guns.

SHOT SHOW 2012 Booth 20240

The SHOT Show, otherwise know as the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show  and Conference is the largest and most comprehensive trade show for all professionals involved with the shooting sports, hunting and law enforcement industries. Wisconsin is the 49th State leagalize Concealed Carry Weapons

Wisconsin recently became the 49th State to legalize the carrying of concealed weapons. Governor Scott Walker signed the bill in June and the law goes into effect this month.

As with most concealed carry permits, Wisconsin residents will have to go through training and provide the certificate as well as the name of the trainer to obtain a permit.  Residents will be allowed to carry concealed weapons in most public buildings unless a sign is posted saying they are not permitted.

With the legalization in Wisconsin, Illinois is now the only state that doesn't allow concealed carry.
