Cooking with the Troops and the USO

The United States military is an integral part of the United States of America and this month has been one of the deadliest of the last 10 years. While you and I are out camping, and fishing, going to barbeque's and enjoying all of the aspects of Summer with our family and friends the troops are away from their children, wives and the other members of their family and they are fighting to keep us free!

There are so many great organizations out there that do what they can to keep the morale of the troops and their family up as well as to help them transition into their life after the military. A great organization that I recently heard of  is Cooking with the Troops! This great organization organizes barbeque's and food events at home and abroad for both the troops and their families. In addition they offer training for members of the military to become trained chefs.

At Stallion Leather we do what we can to support the troops, who also happen to be the sons of some of our employees! We have a personal interest in helping returning vets transition to life back in the USA and to helping current members of the military and their family while they are serving in Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries around the world.

Please do your part to support the troops! Let them know that you think about them while they are away.
